I’ve had this plane (called a 62 and 1/2, Stanley could really name tools) for years, but it’s never been tuned like it is right now thicknessing this padauk. Really didn’t think I could do this without massive tear out in the reversing grain, but my hatred for sanding compelled me to figure it out.
