Lots of great bits in this interview with Chris Eldridge, but my favorite is his story about hanging out in Tony Rice’s basement listening to Jascha Heifetz records and realizing that Tony had based the power and clarity of his bluegrass guitar playing on Heifetz’s sound. Music is music.
