Really enjoyed this collection, the second of Kenyon’s I’ve read this year. It could be described as “depressed Annie Dillard writes poetry,” lots of natural imagery and close observation.

Let it come, as it will, and don’t be afraid. God does not leave us comfortless, so let evening come.
